The semi-formal outfit is worn when you want to get “dressed up” but the occasion does not warrant full formal wear. It is normally worn when one would expect a sports jacket and tie. This level of attire is widely seen at our Spring Party, Heritage Night, and Member Meeting.

This is, of course, Alabama, so some members will dress cooler by wearing a belt instead of the waistcoat or by mixing this attire with the Daywear attire (Informal) for the Spring Party and Kilty Hours.
